arianne + qwuasheema’s story

Arianne and QwuaSheema’s love story began with mutual friends and countless conversations that blossomed over time. After months of talking and video chats, they took a leap of faith and met for the first time at Looking Glass Falls – hours away from both their homes. That first meeting confirmed what they already knew: they had found something real. Arianne calls QwuaSheema her person – beautiful, supportive, and everything she had hoped to find. And for QwuaSheema, Arianne’s determination and protective nature made a lasting impression.

On June 27, 2024, they eloped in an intimate ceremony surrounded by love. Their mothers, Deidre’ Cannon and Alice Armstrong, were there to witness the moment they said “I do.”

A little over a year later, the two said “I do” again, this time at Southern Oaks in New Orleans, surrounded by many more family and friends. With their loved ones present and everything falling into place, the couple described the day as magical – a memory they will cherish forever.
