“The theme for this photoshoot was ‘Vintage Summer.’ I was inspired by my grandmother’s beautiful pink floral patterned dishes that you can see in the picnic scene. I wanted to incorporate the vibrant beauty of summer colors, but with a more muted,  jewel tone. The florals were so perfectly intricate in the detail of what I had envisioned. The classic, vintage Ford Mustang was the perfect addition to this timeless vibe that never goes out of style. It was a treat having my own sister as the bride model, whose effortlessly chic style is one that I love.”

For a formal beach ceremony look, Chad is wearing an ivory shawl tuxedo jacket with a black bow tie from Francia’s Formal Affair. His pocket square boutonniere by Rose Bud Flowers adds an extra touch of elegance.

Take a dream wedding day ride in Elegant Rides of the Gulf Coast’s 1965 White Ford Mustang Convertible. The white interior is perfect for wedding photos and the vintage vibe is classic.

Shelby is wearing a ready-to-wear ivory mini dress with a ruffle hemline and statement gold and mother of pearl earrings from Bliss Bridal.

Chad is wearing a tan slim fit suit from Francia’s Formal Affair. A blush long tie adds a subtle touch of color to his looks and complements his boutonniere by Rose Bud Flowers.

This 3-tier confection by Dropout Bakery & Company located in Mobile, AL is beachy work of art. Accents of gold leaf and perfectly piped icing borders complement the fresh fruit and flower decorations.

By Couture Cakes in Daphne, AL, this indigo fondant groom’s cake has gold leaf edges and is decorated with fresh Blue Thistle flowers.

For Shelby’s hair and makeup, Brushed + Blushed styled a loose, beachy updo with pearl accents and natural sun-kissed makeup look.

Shelby is wearing an allover lace fit and flare bridal dress with deep bikini neckline from Bliss Bridal. Her half hoop earrings, also from Bliss Bridal, have pearl and floral details.

What could be more perfect than a sunset wedding picnic on the beach? Simply Sophisticated Events creates the perfect setting for your first meal as newlyweds.
