emily + jackson’s story

Emily Franklin and Jackson Hamil’s engagement was filled with surprise and joy. What began as a dinner reservation turned into a life-changing moment when Jackson pulled over into Mardi Gras Park instead. There, a glowing “Marry Me” sign waited beneath the trees – and as Emily said yes, their closest friends and family appeared from across the street, cheering and celebrating the moment with them.

Their wedding day in Mobile, Alabama, was a beautiful reflection of faith, family, and love. One of the most meaningful parts of their ceremony was when the couple placed flowers together at the statue of Mary at St. Joseph’s Chapel – a tradition honoring their shared spiritual foundation.

Following the ceremony, the celebration continued with a joyful reception at The Courtyard on Dauphin surrounded by friends and loved ones. From the dance floor to the heartfelt moments in between, Emily and Jackson described both the ceremony and the reception as their favorite parts of the day.
