shelbi + trey’s story

Shelbi Stokes and Trey Wimbrow’s wedding in Picayune, Mississippi was the perfect celebration of a love years in the making. Their story began as college friends who stayed loosely in touch – until years later, daily phone calls rekindled their connection. “I think we were slowly realizing that we were experiencing ‘meeting the same person twice,’” Shelbi shares. A fateful vacation brought them face to face again, and after a magical night out, they knew something timeless had begun.

Their wedding day reflected the ease and depth of their bond. “Everything went seamlessly, better than planned – it felt like magic,” says Shelbi. Hosted at The Henry Smith House.

The venue’s planning and coordination allowed Shelbi and Trey to savor every moment. “They prioritized what we wanted and needed for our wedding day and it gave us so much peace,” she adds..

The couple left with no regrets – only joy and gratitude for the most perfect day of their lives, and the beginning of a beautiful new chapter that had been written in the stars.
