The brick building with vivid blue shutters located at 420 Julia Street has deep Louisiana roots. Originally built as a private residence in the 19th century, it is best known by long-time locals for being the former home of the Louisiana Children’s Museum.

The historic space now houses 420 Julia, a social club and private events venue that can host an array of celebrations including intimate rehearsal dinners or receptions for up to 300 guests. Full club buyouts accommodate up to 750 guests. Stylish design, exemplary cuisine and Louisiana charm make Common House the perfect location for unique and memorable moments.
