A wedding content creator isn’t intended to replace your wedding photographer or traditional videographer. Instead, Memories in Motion focuses on candid, behind-the-scenes content and shorter-form video that gives couples another perspective on their day.

Anna describes the goal simply: the content should feel like your wedding.

“We’re not here to make your day look like someone else’s. We’re here to capture YOU. Your love and your personalities.”

And despite the word content in her job title, Anna says the ultimate audience isn’t social media.

It’s the couple.

“I think sometimes the words ‘content creator’ can be confusing,” she says. “People assume I’m there to create content to brand myself, promote other businesses, or chase views and likes.”

That’s not how she approaches the job.

For Anna, the little clips are there so couples can revisit the funny moments, emotions and pieces of the day they may otherwise have missed.

Different Weddings, Different Stories

One of Anna’s favorite parts of her work is also one of the things that keeps weddings interesting: no two are quite alike.

“Different couples. Different vendors. Different stories. Different vibes.”

She especially enjoys working alongside the other professionals bringing a wedding together, from venues and planners to caterers, DJs, florists, photographers and videographers.

Watching other wedding professionals pour themselves into their work, she says, motivates her to continue growing her own business.

The Wedding Moment She Can’t Get Enough Of

Right now, Anna has a particular soft spot for wedding-day moments involving moms.

Bouquets. Framed photographs. Surprise dances. Speeches. She’s even seen brides begin a special dance with their mothers before inviting all of the mothers and daughters in the room onto the dance floor.

Those moments get her every time.

“When a bride takes a moment to turn the spotlight back onto her momma, I just think there’s something SO incredibly special about it.”

And her love of moments like those ties back into something Anna feels strongly about when couples decide where to put their wedding budget: invest in the memories that matter to you.

That doesn’t mean every couple needs every possible wedding service. Anna is quick to point out that there are talented professionals and options at different price points.

Her advice is simply to decide which ways of preserving the day matter most to you.

The flowers will eventually fade and the reception will come down, but photographs, video, paintings and other keepsakes give couples a way to return to it years later.

When She’s Not Capturing Weddings…

“Wedding Anna” is apparently fueled by love stories. Off-duty Anna has a slightly different fuel source.

You’ll most likely find her chasing her kids, watching football with her husband, listening to Justin Bieber and, in her words, “probably chugging an Alani to keep me going.”

She describes herself as “a little bit of chaos, a lot of fun, and always down for a good time.”

That might explain why she feels right at home in the happy chaos of a wedding day.
