The wedding of Morgan Thomson and Cole Hobbs was a heartfelt celebration filled with personal details, meaningful family moments and a love story years in the making. Held at Little Point Clear and photographed by Anne Cannon Photography, their wedding day reflected the connection Morgan and Cole built through distance, change and plenty of perfect timing.

Morgan & Cole’s story

Morgan and Cole’s love story began quietly, with a single photo and a simple comment. When a mutual friend showed Cole a picture of Morgan, his reaction was immediate. “Oh, she’s cute.” For more than a year, their paths crossed in passing. Eventually a tagged birthday post sparked a conversation, and just one week later, a beach walk with friends changed everything. “From that moment on, we were inseparable,” Morgan shares.

Cole officially asked Morgan to be his girlfriend on June 19, 2021, and even as life pulled them in different directions, their bond only grew stronger. Distance, career changes, and four months apart during Cole’s National Guard basic training tested their relationship, but handwritten letters carried them through. “If we could survive that, we could survive anything,” Morgan says.

On October 26, 2024, surrounded by their favorite people, Cole got down on one knee and asked Morgan to spend forever with him, and she said yes. Their wedding day was deeply personal, officiated by Morgan’s uncle and filled with meaningful moments. For Morgan, the highlight was simple and unforgettable: “The first look.”
