Amber & Jacoby’s Story

Before Jacoby proposed, he took a meaningful first step. “Before he ever asked me, he went to my parents and asked for their blessing,” Amber shares. “It showed me just how deeply he respects where I come from and how seriously he takes loving me.”

Jacoby’s proposal was just as intentional. He surprised Amber with a helicopter ride over Atlanta, giving her a breathtaking view of the city they love. “I remember feeling so present in that moment, completely unaware that my life was about to change forever.” When they landed, Jacoby got down on one knee and asked her to spend forever with him. “This was my person, my answered prayer, my forever,” she says.

Their wedding day was rooted in faith, family, and legacy. One of Amber’s most meaningful moments came while getting ready, as her mother did her makeup, each brushstroke filled with prayer and love. Before becoming husband and wife, Amber and Jacoby were presented with a Bible, symbolizing the foundation of their marriage.

Walking down the aisle between her parents was unforgettable. “That walk was more than tradition—it was testimony,” Amber says. “A moment where family, faith, and forever met. Seeing Jacoby waiting for me at the end of the aisle made the moment even more powerful.”
