Caitlyn & Gaige’s story

Some love stories begin once. Caitlyn and Gaige’s began twice.

The pair first met in eighth grade, sharing a math class and a friendship that quickly turned into young romance. Like many middle school relationships, it eventually came to an end, but fate had other plans. Years later, during their senior year of high school, they found themselves in class together once again and rekindled their friendship. Before long, those familiar feelings returned.

A month after reconnecting, Gaige asked Caitlyn to be his girlfriend during a sunset picnic on the beach in Ocean Springs. “Caitlyn knew this time around with dating Gaige felt different,” she shares. Over the years, the couple navigated long-distance challenges while pursuing their education before finally being reunited after college.

When it came time to propose, Gaige returned to where their journey truly began, recreating that special beach sunset before asking Caitlyn to spend forever with him. On April 25, 2026, surrounded by family and friends, the couple officially began their next chapter together.
