REAL WEDDING:: GINA HUA + KYLE ROBERTS

THEIR STORY IN GINA’S WORDS:

“We both were out one night in New Orleans. We crossed paths and it lead to our first conversation. I asked him how to properly train with weights because he has really nice arms. The conversation continued, we exchanged numbers. A month later I asked him to help me diet for my first bodybuilding competition. We met up at Puccino’s in Metairie and he gave me a diet. We talked for a bit, and I couldn’t help my curiosity so I asked how did he end up in a wheelchair. First response was a drug deal gone bad. I was in shock and questioned if I still wanted him to help me diet down. Then he said he was joking and said it was a shark bite. I didn’t know what to believe but one thing I did know is that he made me laugh. We kept in touch after this meeting and went on our first date and everything felt right. We enjoyed each other’s company. A month later, he proposed and I couldn’t help but say yes. Fast forward to four and one half years later was when we decided to set the date. It was time and I was thrilled to finally get to have the day of my dreams.”

Gina and Kyle's first look took place on Fulton Street. After their private moment together, the couple posed for photos with their bridal party.

Gina’s niece, Mia played the guitar and sang “I Can’t Help Falling In Love” as Gina walked down the aisle at The Cabildo. For the recessional, her nieces Mia and MacKenzie sang “Three Little Birds.” “It was so sweet,” says Gina.
