krystal + chase’s story

“We met through some friends,” shares Krystal. “We were friends for a few years before we started dating.” Chase later would tell Krystal it was love at first sight for him.

Chase proposed on Krystal’s birthday. “He completely surprised me in front of my friends and family after singing happy birthday to me,” says Krystal.

the wedding dress shopping experience

I knew as soon as I put it on that it was the one. – Krystal

Krystal brought her mother, aunt and two bridesmaids shopping with her for her wedding gown. “I had tried on several dresses but nothing seemed to be the one,” says Krystal. “After trying on my last dress at Pearls Place, one of the owners brought me a dress and said ’Just try this one on.’ I knew as soon as I put it on that it was the one. Several tears came out as well. Happy tears of course!”

the first look

“The first look was my favorite!” says Krystal. “I never thought I would be okay with doing the first look but I was so glad we did. It was just such an intimate and romantic experience. We were able to smile, hug, laugh right before one of the most special moments of our life. It took the nervousness out of walking down the aisle. The night goes by so quick and having that special few minutes to ourselves together was so worth it.

“I loved the Champagne Palace because of the outdoor courtyard,” shares Krystal. “I really wanted to get married outdoors and it was so beautiful in the courtyard at night.” The couple’s candlelight nuptials included a sand ceremony.
