For Rory Dembrowski and Brennan Dolnick, their engagement story was anything but ordinary, and that’s exactly what made it unforgettable. Brennan had planned to propose in Rosemary Beach, Florida, but a day of travel chaos nearly derailed everything when his flight from Ann Arbor was canceled. Refusing to give up, he drove hours to Chicago, caught a flight to New Orleans, and met Rory there before the two drove to Florida together.
After a beautiful dinner at Galleon’s, they walked along the beach, where Brennan finally asked the question. “It was a crazy day,” Rory says, “but we both agreed we wouldn’t want it any other way.”
Their favorite wedding moment reflects that same spirit, a quiet pause between ceremony and reception, just the two of them, savoring a love that’s always worth the journey.
