Victoria & Leonidas’ Vernon, Florida Wedding

Victoria & Leonidas Alexakos’ story

“We met while working at the hospital at the beginning of the pandemic,” says Victoria. Leonidas took her to Rome, Italy in February of 2024 where he proposed in a secret overlook of the city and the two said “I do” just seven months later under a canopy of beautiful oak trees in Vernon, Florida.

“Our wedding was a testament to God’s grace and protection,” shares Victoria. “Just two days before our big day, Hurricane Helene swept through, and we braced for the worst. The week leading up to the wedding was filled with uncertainty, but to our surprise, our venue stood strong. Every oak tree remained untouched, not a single branch fell, and it was nothing short of perfect—clear skies, a gentle breeze, and the love of our closest family and friends surrounding us. What could have been a disaster became a beautiful reminder that even in life’s storms, God’s hand is always at work, turning trials into triumphs.”
