Arts Décoratifs: Contemporary Style | Vintage Grandeur
THE INSPIRATION: “The clean lines and geometric shapes of the Art Deco inspired Higgins Hotel were a perfect match for the backdrop that I envisioned for this photo shoot. Floral elements, including a motif of orchids, softened the very hard lines that are indicative of the Art Deco style. I am always aware of fabric texture and how it plays into the overall feel of an event so we included a lot of velvet in the shoot as well as light and airy fabrics such as chiffon and organza. Subtle cues such as this can really set the tone for an event and subconsciously elevate the overall experience for your guests.”
