Ryan & Colt’s Story
Ryan and Colt’s story began unexpectedly in Tuscaloosa, when Ryan, visiting from Oklahoma, crossed paths with Colt. What started as a chance meeting quickly turned into something lasting. When it came time to propose, Ryan went big. On Colt’s 30th birthday, the question was popped during a helicopter ride over Miami Beach, with the coastline stretching endlessly below. It was unforgettable, exhilarating, and perfectly them.

Their wedding day carried that same energy and intention. Hosted in the Atrium at The Battle House Hotel, the black-tie ceremony was elegant and intimate, surrounded by their closest friends and family. The celebration continued in the Crystal Ballroom, where thoughtful details transformed the evening into a true party.
For their first dance, fog effects created the illusion that Ryan and Colt were floating on a cloud, a cinematic moment that set the tone for the night. Guests were handed silver pom-poms for a spirited send-off, and during the reception, hats emblazoned with “’Til Death Do Us Party” were tossed into the crowd, quickly becoming the unofficial uniform of the dance floor.

Asked about his favorite part of the day, Ryan keeps it simple: “Being with the person I adore.” A sentiment that perfectly captures a wedding built on love, joy, and celebrating life together.
