Unexpected Love
Mindy and Tory’s New Orleans real wedding was a heartfelt celebration filled with modern details, beautiful lighting, and meaningful nods to their backgrounds. Held at Club XLIV + Encore at Champions Square, their day blended Tory’s New Orleans roots with Mindy’s Native American heritage for a wedding that felt completely personal to them.
Arriving to work, the last thing one expects is to find true love, even less to find true love’s spokesman asking for your number. However, for Mindy and Tory, sometimes the unexpected brings the most joyful of moments.
According to Mindy, she met Tory at men’s clothing store she worked at. Actually she met Tory’s cousin first.
“Tory and his cousin Brian were shopping, but Tory was to scared to talk to me so he sent his cousin to get my number. He called me that night ‘by mistake,’” Mindy said.
As their relationship grew stronger, Mindy said she was expecting a proposal, but was still shocked when with the help of their son Tory Jr., Tory popped the question on Christmas. She cried with tears of happiness as she said yes.
With beautiful lighting and decorations, Mindy and Tory had their dream wedding that drew inspiration from modern themes, Tory’s New Orleans roots and Mindy’s Native American heritage.
“Our wedding was a true expression of our love and our personality we had the time of our lives and everyone who shared our day did too. Our wedding was filled with a ton of highlights,” Mindy said.
Even with an unexpected start, Mindy and Tory can expect a long life of happiness together.
